We’ve all been there, we’ve all done that, even got the t-shirts to prove it. Here’s how to dress to impress.

1. Styling and Sophisticated Wow factor: 4/5 Interviews can be scary business, so one thing you want to get right is how you look. Inspired by the ladies who take to the skies you can never go wrong with a blouse and skirt combo. Add a fitted blazer and your ready to take on the interviewers with your style and grace. Why not add a pop of colour and make your blouse a red or green colour, to guarantee that stand out factor? Don’t forget to add a broach to add that extra element of sophistication! We recommend Debenhams for great outfits at great prices, especially if you’re fresh out of university. 2. Bright eyed and Baby dolled Wow factor 5/5 If you’re more of a quirky soul who lives to make fashion statements in interviews then this is the look for you, three words pearls pearls pearls. Add these stand out statements to a cardigan and your set. Don’t forget to top the look off with a bow collar, because who doesn’t love those? Think Blair Waldorf and you’ll have this look down to a T. Why not pair the cardigan with some colourful tights and black skirt, it’s a winning combination we promise. We suggest Miss Selfridge for this look. 3. Classic and Casual Wow factor 3/5 Now we know what your thinking, wont this be how everyone dresses to an interview? Probably but were here to inspire you to add a twist to the classic pantsuit which is an interview winner, and we guarantee no one will be wearing that pantsuit like you. Stop shopping for dull colours like black and grey! Everyone has that memo and you will blend into the crowd. Instead try something, which has a fun print such as flamingos or swans. Not only will it work its slimming powers but it’s also a great note for recruiters to make to remember you. We recommend Top Shops cigarette trousers for the ultimate wow factor. Hear from a recruiter herself: Lucy Phillips, Purity Salon

“I always look for girls who are pristine when they come in for their interview. In the beauty industry its key to look your best, I even look at the candidate’s fingernails to get an idea on how well polished they are, before I even think about giving them the job.” [if !supportLineBreakNewLine] [endif]
